This 10'x12' deck was built for a new home. Because of the grade it required 16' of stairs.
Materials used:
AC2 pressure treated - 6x6 posts, 2x8 joists, 2x12 stair stringers and 2x2 balusters.
Reversible UltraDeck(c) was used for deck floor, stair treads and top handrail.
Copper post caps (not pictured).
Completely assembled with hardened steel, galvanized screws.
All the balusters (vertical railing pieces) were custom cut.
Plantation neighborhood, SW Omaha
Using many options and features, this deck optimizes the view of the back yard with glass inserts for railing. Durability was optimized through vinyl railing, posts and plastic composite decking. The structure is comprised of cedar and treated materials.
